Dave E. Carberry, age 75, of Bow, New Hampshire, formerly of Middleborough, died on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at his home surrounded by family.
Born in Norwood, he was the son of the late Edward & Barbara (Martin) Carberry. Dave grew up in East Walpole, attended public schools and was a graduate of Walpole High School. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in February 1966, and was stationed in Camp Pendleton, California. Dave was awarded the National Defense Medal and the Rifle Expert Medal for his outstanding efforts; he served two years and was honorably discharged in March 1968. Dave was a simple man; worked very hard as a laborer for road construction as well as a man of many trades.
Dave was the beloved husband of the late Louise (Williams) Carberry; loving father of Sean Carberry & his wife Jess of Bow, New Hampshire, Scot Carberry & his wife Sarah of Geneva, New York, Peter McGrath & his wife Carol of East Brookfield and Tim McGrath of Kentucky; devoted grandfather of Stephanie & her husband Tim, Michael, Sawyer, Corbin and Dominic; dear brother of Sandy Muse of North Attleboro and the late Laurie Cole. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
All are welcome to the visiting hours at the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak Street, Middleborough, on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, from 9:30 AM to 12:00 NOON.
Family and friends are invited to the Graveside Services at the South Middleborough Cemetery, 565 Wareham Street, Route 28, Middleborough, on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at 12:30 PM.
