Darragh Harlow

OBITUARY: (LAKEVILLE) Darragh E. Harlow, 96, of Middleboro, died on October 3, 2014 at Island Terrace Nursing Home. He was the husband of the late Marion (Patterson) Harlow. Born in Halifax, son of the late Elliot and Vivian (Howard) Harlow. He was a graduate of Middleboro High School. He served in the United States Army Air Corps, during WWII. Darragh lived a full life as a self-employed contractor, active outdoorsman and avid sports fan. Often described as "larger than life" and known for his incredible sense of humor, Darragh was a devoted family man and respected by many. Survivors include a daughter, Jackie Letendre and her husband Paul; grandchildren, P.D. and wife Kristin Letendre, Jason and wife Tanya Harlow, Michael Letendre, Nikki Letendre and Todd Harlow, and 4 great-grandchildren. He was brother of the late Elliot Harlow, father of the late Darragh Harlow Jr., and great-grandfather of the late Zachary Paul Letendre. Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 10th at 11 am in Nemasket Hill Cemetery, Middleboro. Arrangements are being handled by the Ashley Funeral Home, Middleboro.
