Claire Ann (Letendre) Hersey

Claire Ann (Letendre) Hersey, 77, of Worcester, formerly of Middleborough, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at home surrounded by family.

Claire was born in Middleborough, to the late Raymond and Marguerite (Remillard) Letendre, on February 4, 1946.  She grew up in Middleborough and attended public schools.  Claire worked as an electronics assembler for many years and as an accounting clerk for the Foxboro Company for a number of years.  She enjoyed farming, raising livestock, dining out, traveling, and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Claire is survived by her loving daughter, Kim Antonelli, son, Raymond Brown & his wife Maiara; six grandchildren, Paul Desrosiers Jr., Stephanie Desrosiers, Samantha Brown, Nicholas Desrosiers, Katie Brown and Bella Brown.  Claire is also survived by many friends, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Claire was predeceased by her two husbands, Joseph Brown and William Hersey; life partner, Jack Beaton; daughter, Renee Brown; sister, Irene Hangos; brothers, Raymond, Robert and Richard Letendre.

Family and friends are welcome to the visiting hours at the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak Street, Middleborough, on Friday, January 19, 2024 from 9:30-11:30 AM, followed by a short funeral service beginning at 11:30 AM.

Interment services will be private.
