Christopher "CHRIS" P. Hibbard

Christopher "CHRIS" P. Hibbard, age 37, of Middleborough, formerly of Pensacola, Florida, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at his home.

Born in Brockton, he attended public schools and earned his GED.  Chris loved working with his hands, and was a craftsman with woodworking.  He enjoyed the outdoors, camping and was an avid fisherman.  Chris liked stock car racing as well as racing cars in Alabama.  Family was very important to Chris; he loved the "kids" and was very caring and respectful to all.  In recent years, Chris became more spiritual with himself and religion.  He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

Chris is survived by his beloved mother, Terri Hibbard of Bridgewater; his beloved father, Phillip Hibbard of Pensacola, Florida; his loving siblings, Robin Hibbard of Pensacola, Florida, Timothy Hibbard of Pensacola, Florida and Phillip Hibbard of Virginia; his cherished nephew, Colby; his cherished nieces, Rebecca and Sabrina; his loving aunts and uncles, Susan & Dave, Linda & Ray, Sandra & Steve, Dawn & Louie, Cookie, Roy & Mary, and the late Beanie and the late Robin.  He is also survived by many dear cousins and friends.

Family and friends are welcome to the visiting hours at the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak Street, Middleborough, on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, from 1:00-3:00 PM, with a prayer service starting at 3:00 PM.

Interment services will be private.
