Christine "Chrissy" (Gately) Barros

Christine "Chrissy" (Gately) Barros, age 71, of Middleborough, died on Monday, December 12, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family. 

She was born and raised in Plymouth, to the late William & Barbara (Peterson) Gately.  Christine enjoyed making wreaths for any and all occasions, painting and finishing furniture, gardening at her home, trips to the beach, and shopping too!  She was very particular with details and how everything was decorated (the right way = her way).  Christine looked forward to spending quality time with her close friends and family.  She was loved and will be missed by many. 

Christine is survived by her devoted children, Jason T. Barros of Plymouth, Kelly Ann Costa Barros & her companion Alan Centeio of Middleborough; loving grandchildren, Madalyn Barros of Pembroke, Sadie Holbert Barros of Middleborough, Jacob Barros of Plymouth, Ava Barros of Plymouth, and Sophie Costa of Middleborough; dear sister of her twin Catherine Carter of Taunton and Paul Gately of Monument Beach.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

All funeral services are private.
