Charles "Charlie" H. Willame, Jr.

Charles "Charlie" H. Willame, Jr., age 70, of Fairhaven, died on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at the Fall River Healthcare Nursing Home. 

Charles was born on May 30, 1952 in Woonsocket, RI, to Beatrice F. (Creteau) Willame and the late Charles H. Willame, Sr.  He was proud of his Native American roots from both parents and was a part of the Ojibway/Abenaki Nation (Republic of Missisquoi). 

Prior to retirement, Charles was in the heat transfer business and worked as a maintenance mechanic for many years.  His favorite past-times included making Native American jewelry and traveling to perform Civil War reenactments.  Charles also enjoyed working with his hands, particularly on his very own Harley Davidson motorcycle!  His wife Carol surprised him with the motorcycle and cherished their quality times together on rides.  Charles loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Charles is survived by his loving wife Carol; three children; stepchildren; grandchildren; his mother; two brothers and three sisters.  He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
