Betty-Lou Ann (Pattee) Buffington, age 81, of Middleborough, died on Monday, June 23, 2025, at her home.
Born in Freedom, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Millard & Bessie (Hunt) Pattee. Betty-Lou worked as a Team Member with the Sticking Team at Winthrop-Atkins Manufacturing, formerly in Middleborough, and retired after many years. In retirement, she kept busy with reading, doing puzzles and knitting. Betty-Lou was a kind and caring lady, always putting others first. She gave her love unconditionally to everyone. Betty-Lou will be sorely missed.
Betty-Lou was the beloved wife for 60 years to Robert "Buff" Buffington, Sr.; loving mother of Robert Buffington, Jr. of Middleborough and Glenn Buffington & his wife Nancy of Raynham; dear sister of Anthony Pattee of Florida, Shirley Hall of Cape Cod and Lyman Pattee & his wife Dolores of Attleboro.
There will be NO visiting hours.
All are welcome to Betty-Lou's Graveside Service at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, 1 Connery Avenue, Bourne, on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 11:15 AM.
A funeral procession will form at the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak Street, Middleborough, starting at 10:10 AM and departing promptly for Bourne at 10:15 AM.
