Barbara L. (Fetherston) Crowell

Barbara (Fetherston) Crowell, aged 73, passed away unexpectedly, on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, in Boston, Massachusetts.

Born on March 21, 1951, Barbara was a longtime resident of Middleborough and a graduate of Middleborough Memorial High, Class of 1969.  She was employed by Egger’s Furniture in Middleborough for many years and later was the bookkeeper for Bill’s Texaco in Middleborough.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, William Crowell; her daughters Carrie (Crowell) St Pierre & her husband Jacob of Fitchburg, and Lauri (Crowell) Dubrowski & her husband Thomas of Middleborough; her cherished grandson Will of Middleborough; her sister Nancy (Fetherston) Clay of Middleborough; along with numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmet and Evelyn (Tuite) Fetherston.

Barbara was deeply devoted to her family, which was her greatest joy, along with her love for gardening, birding, and caring for her animals.  These hobbies brought her immense happiness and peace throughout her life.

A private memorial service and burial will be held at the Central Cemetery in Middleborough.
