Ann M. (Shores) Berio

Ann M. (Shores) Berio, age 84, of Middleborough, died on Friday, July 4, 2025, at the South Shore Hospital in South Weymouth.

Ann was the daughter of the late Kenneth & Rita (Hayes) Shores.  She was born in Boston, grew up in Weston and was a graduate of Weston High School.  She was a homemaker and for years worked as a Quality Control Inspector in the manufacturing industry.  Ann enjoyed the simple things in life; her family and friends, going shopping, attending the theater, listening to music and playing cards, especially "Rummy".

Ann was the beloved wife of the late Philip Berio; loving mother of Philip Berio & his wife Dawn of Middleborough, Christopher Berio & his wife Melissa of Middleborough and Stacy Thorson & her husband Eric of Plymouth; cherished grandmother of nine and great-grandmother of seven; dear sister of Patricia Cahill of Grafton, Mary Guenther of Altoona, Wisconsin, and the late Kenneth Shores.

Family and friends are welcome to Ann's visitation period at the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak Street, Middleborough, on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 9:30-11:00 AM, with a funeral service starting at 11:00 AM.

Interment will follow in Cemetery at the Green, Plympton Street, Middleborough.
