Albert "Al" F. Brown, Jr.

Albert F. Brown, Jr., age 79, of Middleborough, died on Thursday, October 7, 2021, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in South Boston, he was the son of the late Loretta (Kingston) & Albert F. Brown, Sr.  He also grew up in Hyde Park, Jamaica Plain and Quincy, before moving to Oak Point in Middleborough.  Albert worked for New England Telephone Company for over 32 years.  He loved walking his two dogs, Dusty and Rocky and loved playing cards.

Albert was the beloved husband of Leonora A. (Egershein) Brown; loving father of Judith A. Crespi & her husband Daniel of Hanover and Albert F. Brown, III of Bridgewater; dear brother of Robert Brown & his wife Linda of Connecticut, Patricia Lipnicky & her husband Joe of North Carolina, Paul Brown & his wife Barbara of Falmouth, and Laurence Brown & his wife Marybeth of Plymouth; dear brother-in-law of Maria & Joseph Goode of West Roxbury and the late James Egershein & his surviving wife Karen Egershein of Norwood.  He is also survived by his four cherished grandsons, Jonathan, Joshua, Christian, Nicolas as well as many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are welcome to the Visiting Hours at the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak Street, Middleborough, on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, from 4:00-8:00 PM.

All are invited to gather at the Ashley Funeral Home, Middleborough, on Thursday, October 14, 2021, starting at 9:15 AM, followed by his funeral Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Isidore Parish, Sacred Heart Church, 340 Centre Street, Middleborough, at 10:00 AM.

Interment Services will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, 95 Forest Hills Avenue, Jamaica Plain.
